Named in honor of the gracious lady from whom we acquired this special vineyard when others declared the endeavor impossible, it stands as a proud symbol of determination and our centuries-old winemaking heritage … Planted on the estate’s gentler rolling hills … overlooking the Adriatic with its unique views between Slovenia and Italy, the vines benefit from an ideal microclimate of sunny days balanced by cool Adriatic nights … This perfect shift allows the Chardonnay grapes to ripen slowly and evenly.

The nose and palate deliver rich, warm layers of ripe stone fruit, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon, beautifully balanced by a distinctive salty edge drawn from the nearby salt flats, and a refreshing finish reminiscent of the cooling bora wind …
